Flow's Guide To Doing The Gauntlet In Doom!

Well first off, this is Flow, and on this page you will learn almost everything there is to know to go about begining your career as a doom gauntlet junkie!

The Bosses:

Darknight Creeper Weakest resist: Physical/Fire Slayer?: Yes, Undead	Flesh Renderer Weakest resist: Fire/Cold Slayer?: No	Impaler Weakest resist: Fire/Poison Slayer?: Yes, Deamon
Shadow Knight Weakest resist: Energy Slayer?: Yes, Undead	Abyssmal Horror Weakest resist: Physical Slayer?: Yes, Deamon	Dark Father Weakest resist: None Slayer?: Yes, Deamon

Other Parts:

This is the design on the floor in the center of the gauntlet area. It acts as a guide to which room/boss is currently active. Red Alter = Active Room Black Alter = Already Completed White Alter = Not yet completed *This is also where the DF's Spawn in the center alter*

This is the secret door that goes into Nix's Shop This is the healers room. Only way to get in is to be dead, Which isn't what you want to be =P. The healer inside charges 5k per res, which gets very costly. To get out, simply jump onto the teleporter.

The active boss's room, To enter, jump on the tile and it teleports you inside, The only way to get out is to 1. Be dead or 2. Defeat all the bosses that have spawned inside the room.

Boss Strategy:
Alright, that covers most of the things in the gauntlet itself. Now for some basic strategy for each of the bosses.

Paladin Room 1: Using your silver weapon, Wack away at this boss Room 2: Using your fire/cold weapon, Wack away! Room 3: Deamon weapon,WACK! Room 4: Silver here and yep,Wack again! Room 5: Deamon weapon,WACK WACK WACK Dark Father: Deamon weapon again. Please see the next part of this guide for further instruction.

Mage Room 1: Cast a firespell repeatedly such as fireball, explosion,flamestrike Room 2: Use either a fire spell or a cold spell harm/mindblast. Room 3: If you have poisoning, poison this boss, and use a fire spell. Otherwise just use a fire spell. Room 4: An energy spell, lightning/energy bolt, or cast energy vortexs, or a combonation of both Room 5: Either cast earthquake or use mindblast. EQ will do more damage per spell, but the squid likes to retarget you when you cast EQ's, more so than with using MB Dark Father: A mage can do a few different things to the DF's, first being summoning earth elementals, and sicking them onto the DF after it gets set into place (see below). Or You can sit behind the gate, where archers/tamers will be sitting, and cast spells on the DF himself. Any spell is pretty effective. EQ does alot, but it also hits every other target in the area which can lead to LL's or wraiths casting spells on you, E-Bolts are pretty good as well.

Tamer Rooms 1-5: Lure one boss, sic your pet on it, then vet away. Rinse and repeat for rooms 1-5 Dark Father: Get your pet into position *see below* and when the Df is in place, ALL PWNZORIZE!

Setting up the DF:

1. This is where archers, tamers, and mages should be standing to fight the DF.	2. This is where melee chars or pets should be standing to fight the DF
3. This is where melee chars or pets should be standing to fight the DF	4. This is where (ideally) the DF will be standing while everyone beats the bejsus out of him.

Now here is the MOST IMPORTANT part of this whole guide. When you step onto the gate(this is the way to leave) getting set up for the DF, you want to CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL that menu, Yes Cancel, if you click okay, you will be teleported out of dungeon doom and it will cost you another golden skull to get back in. So remember to CANCEL the menu when you pass over the gate!!!!!

Basically with this setup, only the DF will be able to hit anyone with melee damage, and while he still spawns some spawn with his bones, it is not very distracting as it cannot get past the DF to hit anyone thus making things SOOOO easy =)
