Candle Tall:250k-500k gold
Server up, be in covetous behind the Lich room. On the table with candles already there is where two new ones will Pop up. (Hint, if you can Hide, do so before you log out the night before, people sometimes drag a motley crew of monsters into that room, and you don't want your character to have to time out while being exposed!)

That's me getting to know the locals, as you can see this rare is more for combat characters with close to 100 HP

Cards (Two Hands) : 750k-1.5 million gold
Guard Barracks in Serpents hold

Cards Single hand (Solitaire) : 750k-1.5 million gold
Guard Barracks in Serpents hold, and a Tavern in Skara Brae

Ceramic Mug: 250k-500k gold
Nujelm Tavern

Check white :These were Pre-Dupe bug checks.
1000-5000 gold (plus the face value of the check)

Checker Pieces: 750k-1 million gold
Serpents hold guardhouse. The number of these varies from shard to shard, on Baja there seems to be more than other shards, however they do exist on all shards as far as I know.

Chessmen: 750k-1 million gold
Serpents hold guard house, and the Skara Brea tavern.

Cheese-wheel w/o wedge: 500-2500 gold
Found as loot in provisioners shops, these appear to be the other part of the cheese wedge, or Vice versa. Having both on a table in display at your house is always a very Nice touch :)

If your Specifically looking for a Cheese-Wedge or you just like to clean up everything good (Like me :) ) watch for little shadows, or imperfections on the edges of the other larger food items, often it's a cheese-wedge underneath it with only a fraction sticking out. Cheese-wheel w/o wedge:

Chisels: 5k-20k gold
Carpenter shops, Moonglow, and Skara both have good carpenter shops for procuring chisels. Look in the crates and strongbox. (If you see a barrel in a carpenter shop check it as well.

Chisels are one of the least well known semi rares not only do less people know the location, but even less know its a "semi rare", so they command the highest prices. I have seen them sell for as much as 75k but something between 5k and 20k is more common.

Christmas Tree (deed): 5k gold
This is a deed that works just like those artificial x-mass trees people store 11 months out of the year in their attics. It was given out as a prize, and the owner of such a deed can place a Christmas tree in their house Just like they would place a forge, a loom, or a dartboard. Here is the catch. It will only be a tree during the Holidays, so after New years Re-deed it because it will automatically re-deed itself after a few days and it wont be locked down (anyone can just pick it up and walk of with it). Clothing Bless deed: This is fairly straightforward, click it, then click on an article of clothing (not armor) and it will newbi-fi the item. Meaning that it will Stay with you when you Die.

Coconut-split: 500-2500 gold
Look in the chests, barrels and gold boxes in Provisioners shops. These cannot be found as loot on monsters, regular coconuts can however those are not considered rare (As the split and the dripping coconuts are). These are also stackable; a lot of people don't realize that. A Pair of stacked coconuts looks fantastic in a house, and it will be something that a lot of your visitors who have seen rares before, will not have seen.

Coconut Split Stacked:

Coconut-unsplit (Dripping): 500-2500 gold
Look in the Crates, Barrels, and Gold strong boxes of Provisioners shops.

Colored Wire: 1000-5000 gold
Found in crates, strong boxes and Barrels in Blacksmith shops. The vast majority of these come from the Serpents hold Blacksmith due to the high number of crates it has. There is also a High Number of people camping out, and a High number of people who will stop by just to check on the crates.

Have some patients when hunting for these, and try not to get to worked up when you have been watching the same chests waiting for some to spawn for 20 minutes, and the moment they do another thief, or someone who just recalled in snatches them.

Because of the competitive nature of the serpents hold smith shop, I want to be perfectly clear that these will spawn at ALL smith shops, the main reason people favor serpents hold is the High Number of crates.

Colored Wires Silver (Stacked):

Colored Wires copper (Stacked):

Colored Wires gold (Stacked):

Colored Wires iron (Stacked):

Cookies, plate of cookies: 500-2500 gold
Monster Loot. Orcs are the most common carriers of the round plate of cookies, but they have been found on Rat men and other monsters as well.

Covered chair: 1.5-2 million gold
These are server birth items, there is no known spawn. The first one is supposed to be at the Vesper Cemetery, and the other in the first level of Hythloth.

Cow Statue: 3-4 Million gold
(Doesn't this look like the Diablo Cow!?) :) These are Neat-O. And there are only 100 of them. Not 100 per shard, 100 for all of Ultima Online. They were given as a random prize for people who participated in a massive house placement test. (Catskills house placement test shard). Because of the Scarcity, and extremely High demand be ready to pay and pay a lot. The cow statue alone is likely to be worth more than the Placed House it sits in.

Crossbows (Slanting to the Left): 500-2500 gold
Crossbows that are made or purchased from NPCs slant to the right, these have to be taken as loot from monsters, or stolen from Npc Barrels or Chests. The vast majority of these come from the mainland side of Skara Brae, the barrels in the ranger huts (same place as whips). They can sell for a 500 to a few thousand at the West Briton bank.

Crystal Ball: (Singing): 750k gold
This is different than a normal crystal Ball. It will make a randomly selected noise when someone walks close to it. One might more accurately call it a "Chirping" Crystal ball.

Crystal Ball Fortune telling. Like the 8ball game: 750k gold
Ask it a Question, and then click on it. Actually you don't have to ask it a question; you can just click on it. (Try asking it questions about your friends while your friends are there, ask stuff like "Will Joe deny that he smells like a Goat" always Phrase questions like that :)

Daemon Bone Armor 150k-250k gold Per Piece

This is one of the coolest new rares available. Its similar to bone armor in the aspect of you find it one piece at a time. It's found as loot on Efreets, you have to kill about 100 of them in order to get a piece. Efreets look like a red air elemental, and they are tough, probably 30% to 50% tougher than an Air elemental. You can solo one of them with a melee fighter, but you will have to Cure and heal a lot, they cast poison more than Air, water, and fire elementals do, and unlike air elementals these babies can Punch! There melee attack can be over 20 Points of damage to even a well armored character.

There is still a Much larger danger about Hunting Efreets than the Efreet itself, and that is the swarm of other monsters that spawn in the same areas. Efreets spawn in the South East part of the T2a Desert (Just north of the City of Paupa in the lost lands) they also spawn in the Deluca passage (On the Deluca side, not the Britannia side) in the far north east corner. Both places have heavy spawns of fire elementals, hell cats, and Lava lizards. The Desert spawns also include Giant Lava serpents, Predator hell cats, hell hounds, Giant serpents, and Swamp tentacles. Most of these monsters by themselves are respectable foes, however the huge numbers they spawn in, and the frequency of the spawn rate makes that area of the desert an extremely dangerous place.

The Deluca Passage on the other hand has its own set of problems, you wont be bombarded with 15+ Hardcore monsters at the same time, but it is a very tight and constricted area. Most things here spawn in 2s. An experienced melee fighter can probably handle two lava lizards, but if the fight moves much in one direction along the narrow corridor or another you will get the next spawn pair involved, so instead of fighting 2 lava lizards, your fighting 2 Predator hell cats -and- two lava lizards. The only way out other than recalling, which isn't always possable if monsters are right on your tail is to go into the cave heading back to the lands of Britannia or out the exit that leads to Paupa. It may not sound that harsh from just reading it, and it wont be if you remember not to run around too much with monsters chasing you. If you can keep the fight more or less in a small area you wont be ganged up on and you can work your way steadily back to where the Efreets spawn.

Once there still exercise caution one or more Efreets will spawn alternately with pairs of fire elementals, if your not done with combat on the Efreets by the time the next pair of fire eles spawn you could be in some serious trouble. More than once I had to high tail it back down the passage with about 1/3 of my hit points left, and all through the passage more and more monsters will be chasing you because there is only 1 way in or out and you have to run through several spawn points in the narrow corridors to make it out of the passage. It's not uncommon to pull a train of fire eles, hell hounds, and numerous lava lizards right up to the server boundaries. (lol If you can try Hard to avoid that, a lot of people who use that cave traveling from the lands of Britannia to the lost lands. Many are tradesmen or mere apprentices of the way of arms! Such a motley assortment of creatures in such an important causeway can wreak havoc!).

The best type of rares hunter to amass Daemon bone armor is probably the Tamer, Dragons/Wyrms make short work out of just about anything in the spawn areas. Not to belabor the point be careful not to get overwhelmed by fresh spawns, in the Quest for Demon bone armor My tamer lost 2 Dragons and a handful of mounts over two days.

Mages can also do well hunting for Daemon bone armor, most of the people selling sets are mages.

A BOLD melee fighter with a LOT of cures, and a good connection can probably handle a single Efreet, I was content to find one, draw Blood, then get the heck out, as they really love throwing that poison spell around!

Here are some screen shots of the Desert areas:

Deluca Pass (Deluca Side)

Deluca Pass (inside, Efreets spawn in the north east section, you can occasionally find one that another adventurer dragged out in the more central sections.

Deluca Pass (Lands of Britannia side, this mountain is located south west of the city of Trinsic)

It can be quite a mission to amass a complete set lol :)

Dates-bunch: 1000-5000 gold
Crates, barrels, and strong boxes of provisioners' shops. Its one of the rare food items spawn that does spawn frequently but less frequent than the other items in its class (Banana Bunches, Split coconuts Bacon slabs Etc)

Deer Carcass:1 million-1.5 million gold
Server birth rare North of the entrance or Hythloth on Fire Island. Another one of these (For comparison as its Locked down permanently) can be found inside the Butcher shop near the west bank in Briton.

Deer Mask :500-1000 gold
Same as the bear mask, can be found as loot on monsters (Orcs, Lizard men, Trolls etc) you will have slightly better luck in finding these as loot on dungeon monsters than surface spawns, but they can be found on Both. They also spawn inside metal chests at Bucks Den. Some of the ones that spawn on monsters are magic.

Dead Wood:500-1000 gold

This can be found at the reagent shop Herbal Splendor in Moonglow. There is some pretty serious competition for any items in the Herbal Splendor shop, I wouldn't recommend showing up and waiting for others to leave, rather show up and if people are there just come back in a while (30 minutes or so) Also Be Extremely careful, for in town rares spots the item has to be stolen from the chest, most rares hunters will not call the Guards on you while your doing this, but Herbal Splendor is in Moonglow, and there are LOTS of people coming in and out of the shop, a lot of them will call the guards just for the heck of it.

The second source for dead wood was the Reaper. It's a Magical tree that spawns in forests all over the place and T2a. You can almost always find one (or more) in Shame Valley (The stretch of land in front of shame dungeon) The Monster spawn there is Hellatious though! So be careful. Its not currently spawning dead wood as loot, but will probably start up again when necromancy gets a little closer.

Some other places they are common is south of "Wrong Dungeon" and in Eastern Yew.

On Rare occasion I have found reapers by themselves, but usually they spawn in areas with other monsters.

A reaper by itself is defiantly not a Weenie Monster. It casts lots of spells including flame strike. But it has one Major weakness; it's a tree and can't Move. To Kill a reaper, run up, attack it, let it hit you with a few spells then run off screen, Heal (and Cure if you need to!) then run back. Don't worry about damaging the reaper while its casting spells at you; what you want to do is run it out of Mana.

When its only casting wimpy little spells in your direction, then its out of mana and anyone with even a modest amount of weapons skill can kill it. (I Killed one once with an Archery of 30 (It was 36 before I was done).

If you're a GM Fencer, Swords, or Macer, Just run right in and kill it J The advice above was for Everyone else in the game.

The last thing but it is important about Dead wood, is that is one of the Planned Necromancy reagents, (Meaning when Necromancy comes out people are going to need these in cartloads) It is Unknown if OSI will have Necro Regs spawn on town vendors, or if players will have to go to great lengths to obtain their Regs for this (Presumably) Powerful Skill of Necromancy.

Dead wood (Stacked):

Death Shroud: 750k-1 million gold
I have no idea what the Purpose of this item was, or how it came into existence, well I have an Idea it was a Bug, or a Mistake because it's a Delete on Sight item if a gm Spots it. When not worn its just those two words "Death Shroud"

Dirt Tile: 750k gold Some tiles could be Picked up and carried off. I Don't believe it is presently possible to obtain these, and the price can be rather high to purchase one.

These are Pretty cool, you can set them in your house, and make a bit of a "sand box" if you are lucky or rich enough to have come across more than one. Other types of terrain tiles are floating around as well.

Dragon's Blood: 500k-750k gold

Dried Flowers and Herbs: 1000-5000 gold
These come from the "Herbal Splendor" Shop in Moonglow city. There is a Great spawn in the crates, and they spawn in the Golden chest (Strong box) as well, however the competition among other rares hunters is Fierce. If you go there and see someone Camping out its best to just move on and come back. Even though there are a lot of these already on the market, the demand remains strong and consistent; you will have no trouble finding top dollar buyers for these. In addition to other rares Hunters there are a Lot of people in Moonglow making it quite dangerous to steal in. (Some people will call the guards out of reflex, others get their rocks off doing it, so be careful when in there stealing. If I'm camping out the site, I will be visible when other Rares hunters show up so they know I was here first, most rares hunters will be polite and move on, later when you show up and see someone camped there you can do the same thing for them. Not all but most rares hunters are courteous.

Most of the other people coming in and out of Herbal Splendor are reagent shoppers they don't know about the Rares spawn, to them its just another reagent shop, and your just another thief. There are others who know about the Rares spawn and hang out there just to Guard kill rares hunters.

My Advice to you for camping there is to do it hidden, show yourself when other rares hunters show up, but for the rest of the people your Much better off if they don't know your there. All 4 Types of dried Items sell very well, my personal favorite is Type A however they will all fetch a pretty penny.

As with all rares the Price varies wildly from Shard to Shard and person to person. If your Selling do it at the West Briton bank, you will get a good price there, as a Ballpark ask for 2500 for 1 or maybe 10k for whole set.

If your Buying go to www.tradespot.com Post an ad saying "Dried flowers wanted will pay (Whatever amount) 1k Per item" You will typically save money when Buying rares if you do it through tradespot and you will typically get a better Price when selling by calling out at the west Briton Bank.

Some people * Grins* (A LOT OF PEOPLE!) make their livings and fortunes in UO just by buying on tradespot and selling at the bank.

Dried Flowers(Type A):

Dried Flowers(Type b):

Dried Herbs:

Dried Onions:

Empty Tub: 500-1000 gold
Stables, Everywhere. (Minoc, Briton, Serpents Hold, Skara Brea. Trinsic) Use the water trick to unlock them. Take a Pitcher of water (Can be purchased from most NPC waiters and waitresses, at the taverns, restaurants, and inns in most towns)

Empty vials: 500k-750k gold

These are a Legitimate Spawn, and worth Boo-Coo Bucks. I would start around 175,000 and work your way up if your trying to buy one. They occasionally spawn in the Laboratory in Hythloth and another occasional server up spawn (with much more competition) at the Serpents hold provisioners where I am standing. There are numerous copies in Npc Magic and Alchemy shops around Britain, and its not inconceivable that several of those have been "appropriated" through a Bug in the past. However no matter the source it's a safe item, and I have yet to hear of a Gm having Issues over one of them.

Entrails: 500-1000 gold
This is a Picture of some locked down entrails, when found on a corps they look the same, but give off the illusion of being like a little red snake.

They can be found as loot on Zombies, and Giant Serpents.

Executioner's cap: 500-1000 gold
This is one of the Planned Necromancy Reagents, you used to be able to get them by saddling up and going out in search of Corpsers. However there is currently no know spawn. (Will Probably change)

Executioners cap stacks as well.
