Dragons will now cast magic arrow on themselves after a few moments of being in a paralyze field. This will take them out of the paralyze fields grasp. Paralyze field is still the very best legal method to tame a dragon. The main difference is in the past you would be able to get off up to two taming attempts once the beast catches itself in the field, now you only have time for one attempt. Definitely not the change of the century, however since this change gives an even greater advantage to players that use exploits for taming there is a good chance that it will be taken out some time down the road.

A second change that is a little more mild is that you can no longer tame while "invisible". Actually I dont think that was so much a change as a bug fix. Although it was never classified as a bug officially, it was statistically much harder to successfully tame one of the big 4 while invisible. Im guessing there was something else to it beyond being invisable that allowed a taming attempt to happen even tho the animal couldnīt see you. In any even its no longer possable so... :)

Changes to Siege (and to the two new shards for Europe and Asia that will have the Siege Rule set). It will now be roughly twice as difficult for a tamer to successfully tame a Dragon or Wyrm. I havenīt heard yet on nightmares, there still seems to be a good supply of them lol. This doesnīt mean that the big animals will be astronomically hard to tame, only that if you average success on one in every 14 attempts it will now take you an average of 28 attempts to succeed.

Animal Lore method, apparent Trammel Nerf. The animal lore/Vet skill gain method in the guide still works, but it only works in Felucca. In the past guilded players could build animal lore on the Trammel side, however that has changed. Its entirely possible that it will stop working on the Felucca side in one of the up coming patches.
